Feel the French country side, in the Dordogne, stunning stars at night, beautiful nature, old bastides and plenty of space! Jump into the big pool, relax in the hottub, read a book on the terras, join our 'Table d'hôtes', enjoy the local products and explore the surrounding. Play hours and hours in the outside and jump on the trampoline.... Come stay in our 4 beautiful gîtes or tipi tent.
Stay
Domaine Le Cariol consists of a beautiful French country house and 2 (attached) houses. We have 4 cottages and a tipi tent attractively furnished with brocante, equipped with all comforts, each with a spacious private terrace. The domain has a lot of space to play, relax and you can use a shared swimming pool (6 by 12 meters) & hot tub.
Table d'hôtes
On arrival you can enjoy a meal served on the terrace of your own cottage. Once a week you can join the 'Table d'hôtes' for a vegetarian 3-course dinner at Chez Car.
Surrounding
The Dordogne, also known as the Périgord, is world famous for its many prehistoric sights, for example the caves of Lascaux, Font de Gaumes and the big national museum in Les Eyries. But also the beautiful sights as the bastides, villages and many many castles from the past are worth visiting.

L' Atelier
Suitable cottage for 4 persons (2 adults and 2 children): Cottage with spacious living room and kitchen. 1 bedroom with attached bathroom above an open vide with 2 cosy beds. Private terras
Tipi La Butte
For 4 people (2 adults and 2 children). This sturdy tipi is situated in a secluded green area and features its own bathroom (sink, toilet, and shower) and a private terrace.
La Métairie
Suitable cottage for 4 persons (2 adults and 2 children): Cottage in the left wing of the big house with open living room and kitchen. Big sleeping room with 2 x single bed and divided bunkbeds. Private terras with view on the pool
La Foulerie
Suitable cottage for 4 persons (2 adults and 2 children): Cottage based in the souterrain of the big country house with open living room and kitchen with 2 sleeping rooms and a private terras with a view on the pool
